Understanding Principal Contractor Dutyholder responsibilities is critical for works in the cladding industry. Set out in the PAS8672:2022 and following The Building Safety Act 2022 guidelines, a Principal Contractor must plan, manage, monitor and co-ordinate the Construction phase under CDM but must also now comply with the Gateway and Golden Thread obligations. We are constantly seeking to improve and ensure competency of our subcontractors with a programme of TBTs, rigorous ITP and constant onsite recording and monitoring.
